Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Fellow in Gynaecology.  This post is to provide support to the departmental Gynaecology research within the Norfolk and Suffolk CRN, based in Norwich.

Post commences on 1st November 2016 for a period of 12 months which may be renewable for a further 12 months upon successful completion of the recruitment aims of the various studies within the department.

Post is paid on a basic 40 hours per week.

The main duties of the post are to provide support predominantly for the gynaecology side of the work performed by the CRN as the studies that require skills of a specialist in gynaecology. However this department has an excellent record in research output and the attainment of higher degree qualification, such as MD.

Research duties will include recruitment of patients to studies and administering research activities in the department whilst helping dissemination of the growing enthusiasm within the directorate towards research and publish projects in peer reviewed journals and at academic meetings. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the clinical work of the directorate which will include on call opportunities.

Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practice, and is intended for a junior doctor within the specialist training grade of ST2 or above.
