    Hi Kate

Our Trust runs from two community settings. We never run nurse lists without knowing there is a gynae doctor on site given the long waits that can be experienced when waiting for the ambulance service. If there was a reason to have to stay behind awaiting transfer, I think it depends on the reason for transfer for what staff were required to remain on site. We have a haemorrhage trolley which has IV’s packs and catheters and crash trolley. There is no blood bank at either site so we are selective over who can be seen at what site and we wouldnt do large fibroid resections away from the main trust. We also wouldn’t see women at those sites with complex medical comorbidities
    Hope this helps
