Objective
This hands-on workshop is ideal for residents and consultants seeking to enhance their skills and confidence in performing endoscopic myomectomy with safe morcellation techniques. Its focus will be to advance surgical skill, staying at the forefront of fibroid management.
This workshop will provide gynaecological surgeons with comprehensive training in laparoscopic myomectomy and in-bag morcellation techniques, focusing on safe, effective, and fertility-preserving management of uterine fibroids. The workshop aims to enhance surgical decision-making, demonstrate techniques for fibroid dissection, and enucleation of intramural, subserosal, and pedunculated fibroids, develop advanced laparoscopic skills including intracorporeal suturing and tissue retrieval, and promote best practices in reducing the risk of tissue dissemination through contained morcellation.
