Objective

  • To understand how advanced ultrasound techniques can transform the patient pathway and optimise surgical treatment,
  • To develop an understanding of recent progress in advanced ultrasound techniques as applied to common disease treated by minimal access surgeons,
  • To gain an understanding of the research evidence base for the use of ultrasound in gynaecology.

Lectures will be given by leaders in their field who all have a detailed understanding of minimally invasive surgery and the use of ultrasound to enhance patient care.
