Annual Scientific Meeting – British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy

Theme: ‘One World, One VisionBreaking Surgical Ground in Endoscopy’

We are pleased to invite submissions from delegates for presentation at BSGE ASM26 in London.

You are encouraged to submit abstracts for oral, video, or e-poster presentations. Contributions may include original scientific research, surgical techniques, audits, service developments, and innovations in any area of gynaecological endoscopy.

Awards

Outstanding submissions will be considered for awards, including the prestigious:

“THE KARL STORZ – HAROLD HOPKINS Golden Telescope”

This will be awarded to the winner of the Best Video presentation. The recipient will also receive a KARL STORZ-sponsored BSGE bursary to attend a KARL STORZ-supported course in Europe.

How to Submit

You must register with the online submission system before submitting your abstract. For guidance on using the system, click here.

Each submission must include:

  • Primary author’s name, position, organisation, full contact details (address, telephone, and email).
  • Names and affiliations of all co-authors.
  • Preferred presentation format: video, oral, e-poster, or either.

If your abstract is not selected for an oral or video presentation, it will automatically be considered for an e-poster or video poster. Final decisions regarding presentation format rest with the BSGE Scientific Committee.

All authors must declare any conflicts of interest.

Important Notes

  • Submitting an abstract does not register you for the conference.
  • The presenting author must register by 27th March 2026. If registration is not completed by this date, the abstract will be withdrawn from the programme.
  • The details entered for the primary author will appear in the final programme.
  • At least one author must pay the registration fee to attend the ASM.

Please Note: Videos that have previously won a BSGE video prize cannot be submitted again. Duplicate awards for the same work are not permitted by BSGE Council policy.

Changes & Withdrawals

To withdraw an abstract or change the presenting author, please email bsge@outsourcedevents.com by 6th March 2026.
