The BSGE in collaboration with the ESGE runs the Gynaecological Endoscopy Education and Assessment (GESEA) Programme in the UK. The Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA) programme is a structured educational programme for Gynaecological Endoscopy. It trains and certifies knowledge and practical skills prior to surgical competence.

As part of the GESEA Programme we will run regular training courses to prepare the candidates for the Level 1 and Level 2 Certification Examinations. The examinations will again will take place at regular intervals through the year.
Candidates who wish to enrol for GESEA certification are required to complete the e-learning modules. This is available via GESEA website https://gesea.eu/pathways/
All e learning modules must be completed before the examination to qualify to sit the examination.
The examination itself consists of both theoretical and practical assessments.
