It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2025 BSGE Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) Meeting in Birmingham.
The meeting will take place at the recently renovated and prestigious Grand Hotel in Birmingham. You will love the venue (Explore The Grand Hotel, Birmingham in 3D ). The meeting will run over 2 days, from lunchtime Thursday 13th to lunchtime Friday 14th February so you have time to arrive and get back home for your weekend plus we can have an enjoyable and social evening meal. The meeting will include 2 lunches, copious refreshments and an evening meal as well as accommodation in a beautiful hotel.
As before, we will be focusing on ambulatory interventions for diagnosing and treating uterine and genital tract problems with hysteroscopy, ultrasound, new pharmaceuticals and other novel technologies. The pressure on waiting lists has really shone a light on ambulatory care and a greater apparent willingness to expand and invest within the NHS and private providers. You will all also be pleased to see that the joint RCOG / BSGE Green Top Guideline for "Outpatient Hysteroscopy" has finally been published (OBGYN) so we will, as usual, have lots to talk about and discuss.
We will be avoiding didactic lectures (apart from our key note - Prof Sergio Haimovich, founder of the Global Congress of Hysteroscopy) and concentrating on audience interaction, discussion and sharing ideas. We will have updates, interesting cases, troubleshooting, operative techniques, innovations, debates etc.
We had 200 attendees at last year’s meeting and we hope for similar numbers or even more this time. We are sure that you all will be ready for a great meeting in Feb after dusting off the post-Christmas blues where you can also be back home in time for a romantic Valentine’s day meal!
