BSGE members can register for the Birmingham-Worcester Annual Scientific Meeting 2022.
The meeting will be held at the International Convention Centre in the heart of Birmingham on the 28th February- 1st March.

The meeting is themed ‘Standing Tall after the Fall’ – always learning, improving safety and enhancing outcomes. Launching the meeting, the co-chairs Donna Ghosh, Justin Clark acknowledged the challenges the Society and its members have faced over the last few years. The ASM provides an opportunity for members to come together, in person, to learn, share experiences and socialise. Anyone  unable to attend in person, will have the option to attend virtually and access a live stream from the conference.

The LOC invited members to submit abstracts for the Free Communication Session where the highest scoring abstracts will be selected. Abstracts should be submitted for consideration as either a Video, Oral or E-poster presentation.

The team are also looking for interesting, novel and thought-provoking abstracts for the Pecha Kucha’ Session which should be submitted under the theme, ‘Innovations in training’ that showcase inventions, technological concepts or innovative ideas that advance minimal access gynaecological training.

There is a separate abstract submission for the Trainee Video Session. The 3 best video abstracts from a trainee as the primary surgeon demonstrating an interesting surgical case, a useful technique or excellent performance of a procedure will be selected for presentation in the RIGs session.

A number of post congress workshops will be held on the 2nd March at Birmingham and Worcester.

Visit the ASM website for details of the scientific and social programme, how to register for the conference, social events and workshops and for further details of abstract submission.
