The BSGE has announced the latest in a series of free webinars. The session will cover training in gynaecology, with a focus on gynaecological endoscopy. The webinar will feature Sue Ward, RCOG VP for Education and Trainee Representative Michael Adamczyk who will both be presenting and answering questions with the panel.  The session will take place at the usual 6pm time slot on Wednesday, 29th July.

BSGE President Justin Clark announced the webinar saying:

‘I think the subject matter is timely because I am aware that there is much concern amongst our trainees regarding their surgical training in gynaecology given the impact of the viral pandemic on elective operating capacity. The webinar will give us the opportunity to suggest and discuss innovative solutions and engage with the RCOG. I think it will be highly valuable and interesting to both trainees and trainers alike, so I hope you can join us. Please disseminate to your colleagues who can join live regardless of BSGE status.’

If you are interested in joining the webinar please register here.

The whole “Getting back to business” webinar series is now available on the website for BSGE members only. Justin said the sessions had been very useful:

All the talks were excellent and generated many questions. In particular it was great to have the perspectives of an acute medic and an infectious disease expert.’
