ParticipantWithin my Trust it is again the responsibility of the Practitioner to contact their patients with their results. Depending on the nature of the result this may be via telephone, inviting someone in to an appointment or letter. We fulfil the two week wait requirements & all benign menstrual disorder results are communicated within our 12 week result target.

ParticipantWe use omniscopes 95% of the time for our hysteroscopies & do the vast majority vaginoscopically very successfully with these. For biopsies we just pop a speculum in at the end briefly & take a pipelle.

ParticipantWe like Caroline just keep an eye on wear & replace as & when required. I can’t remember the last time we needed to though so they must have a pretty long life span.

ParticipantWe would only do this in the OPH clinic if the patient was going to require a speculum i.e. for local anaesthetic & they obviously gave consent. Otherwise no as we’re always trying to provide a vaginosocpic approach for comfort.

ParticipantWe have received one in the last week too Suzy, our BI is struggling with some of the questions as the data hadn’t previously been split by operative & diagnostic work.
