The hysteroscopy workshops are focused on hands-on bipolar resection training with models using equipment provided by Olympus.
Participants will also have opportunities on other stations with models to use Versapoint electrodes, and experience a variety of diagnostic hysteroscopes (flexible, semi-flexible and rigid). In addition, there will be a station dedicated to learning tips and tricks on the use of camera stacks and fluid management systems.
Who Should Attend?
This course is primarily addressed to participants of the BSGE Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopy Workshops held in May and June 2021 in order to give them the opportunity to undertake hands-on resection training. However, other delegates are welcome should there be sufficient spaces.
Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology who are registered or who plan to register for either the ATSM in Benign Gynaecological Surgery: Hysteroscopy or Benign Abdominal Surgery: open and laparoscopic.
Consultants, Staff Grade, Staff Doctors, Trust Doctors or Associate Specialists, wishing to enhance their hysteroscopy skills.
