The BSGE team has announced a cycle ride ahead of the ASM in Manchester. The ride from London to Manchester aims to raise money for Endometriosis UK and increase awareness of this distressing condition.

Next year’s cycle challenge follows the highly successful rides to Edinburgh and Celtic Manor. In 2020, the route will wind through town and countryside, covering over 220 miles in two days and passing through a number of BSGE Endometriosis Centres along the way. The cycle team is looking for BSGE members to get involved, organiser Lutfi Shamsuddin told the news team:

‘The BSGE Cycle team need you! This year the team will leave the new home of the RCOG at Borough Road. We will cycle out of the big smog carving our way through early morning Sunday traffic out towards Oxford and stopping in the Midlands on the first day and resuming the ride towards Manchester the following day. We need you to be part of this challenge!’

The event will have full support from Richard Penketh and Lizzie Bruen in the support and broom wagon. So, participants can focus on riding and feeding. The ride will be self-funded between the participants and any monies raised will go direct to Endometriosis UK.
