The British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has a novel journal club that’s run using the Twitter platform. Using the hashtag #BlueJC, each club runs for 7 days and focuses on a specific current article. You can leave comments and respond to the opinions of others. Justin Clark, BSGE Research and Audit portfolio chair told us that papers for publication can be generated in BJOG from a distillation of the discussions.

It’s designed to be a fun, interactive educational innovation for busy clinicians. This month’s article my particularly interest BSGE members as it’s within our field, looking at the investigation of post-menopausal bleeding and role of endometrial polypectomy on recurrent bleeding. The paper details some interesting findings around the prevalence of serious endometrial disease within polyps. If that has piqued your interest, then click on the link below, check out the article and get tweeting today.
