BSGE Hands-on Human Cadaveric Laparoscopic Anatomy Course 2019

The British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy is delighted to organise the 5th Hands-on Human Cadaveric Laparoscopic Anatomy Course in collaboration with the University of Oxford.

This course will aim to demonstration and hands on prosection of female pelvic anatomy taking a laparoscopic approach to facilitate gynaecological surgical procedures and to improve knowledge of pelvic surgical anatomy including sidewall and retroperitoneal space dissections   as well as techniques for repairing bowel, bladder and ureters.

£700

This course is only open to members of the BSGE and heavily sponsored in order to minimise cost to members to this nominal rate. If you are successful, you will be asked to pay online with your debit/credit card.

Places are limited to 18 candidates. Candidates attending previous courses unfortunately will be disadvantaged. Selection will be based on the criteria and the answers.

Programme:      

  • Introductory plenary Hands on laparoscopic human dissection on both days with lectures to facilitate sessions.
  • Interactive hands on sessions with human cadavers (fresh – Not treated) with simultaneous preceptor feedback
  • Self, peer and supervisor (one to one basis) assessment
