The BSGE in collaboration with the ESGE runs the Gynaecological Endoscopy Education and Assessment (GESEA) Programme in the UK. This is a structured training programme set up by the ESGE and the European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery. The GESEA Programme is recognized by various organisations and countries worldwide including European Board College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG), European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ENTOG), and ESHRE. Further information can be found on the ESGE and European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery Websites.
As part of the GESEA Programme, BSGE will run Level 1 and Level 2 Certification Examinations. The examinations will take place at regular intervals through the year. We intend to organise a regular examination one day before the BSGE Annual Scientific Meeting every year, other dates will be announced nearer to the time. The dates for the next GESEA Course and Examination can be found on the BSGE Website.
Candidates who wish to enrol for GESEA certification are required to complete the e-learning module provided by the Winners Project. This is free to access via the websurg website: www.websurg.com/winners/
