Objective
- To become familiar with Operative hysteroscopy
- To understand how to use and set up different operative equipment
Description
The workshop will combine lectures, case study discussion and practical stations. The lectures will include pathology type and choice of equipment, troubleshooting with stack, light source and scopes and use of tissue removal systems. There will be rotational practical stations with hands-on removal of intrauterine pathology using simple forceps, morcellation and using electrosurgery.
The practical sessions will use both models and simulators. The stations will include improving camera skills and hand- eye co-ordination in:
- Operative hysteroscopy

A particular station will focus on case studies and management of complex cases. The case studies will include videos and hysteroscopic images.
