Objective

This programme is aimed at preparing gynaecological surgeons for the emergency scenarios they may face when in theatre or on-call. By developing a rigid set of algorithms for typical presentations such as acute haemorrhage, or the peri-operatively compromised patient, it will help standardise the management of the acutely unwell patient and reduce the impact of human factors that come into play.

Description

There will be a combination of lectures, tutorials as well as emergency simulation drills. Each scenario will have an associated algorithm developed for optimal and timely management.
